‘The Old Rectory’ gets the kitchen it deserves and we are delighted with the end result. The island cabinets have been painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Lamp Room Gray’ with the surrounding cabinets painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Cornforth White’. The polished ‘Black Forest’ granite worktop compliments the design perfectly and the contrasting pippy oak breakfast bar adds warmth. The worktop runs seamlessly into the dresser cabinets, which creates additional space for appliances to be hidden away when the bi-fold doors are closed. Concealed doors in the mantle provide the ideal place to keep herbs and spices. A chef’s preparation cabinet with engraved chopping boards and integrated trays sits in the island opposite the AGA. A Smeg steam oven sits centrally within the tall run of cabinets with a larder cabinet either side. To the right of the oven is an integrated pull out wirework, and to the left, is an integrated jar rack and two scalloped drawer boxes. ‘The Old Rectory’ engraving on the mantle adds the finishing touch to this beautiful kitchen.
