Colour & Fabric: The Right Pairing

18 May 2020Colour & Fabric: The Right Pairing

Soft furnishings are a great way to introduce warmth, softness and above all, your personality into a space! It is also a perfect opportunity to add in a pop of colour. We have worked with Crowther & Sons on some of our very best designs, from upholstered seating to handcrafted bespoke chairs, between us both we are committed to giving you something truly unique to compliment your kitchen design. Here are some of our favourite collections by ILIV to enhance your home this Spring/Summer season…

Phoenix

These are a collection of luxurious faux mohair with a stylish soft touch for any modern interior. These highly pigmented velvets come in a huge variety of colourways, from delicate light neutrals, to bold, rich hues. We have included some of our favourites here:

Phoenix ‘Dove’, ‘Forest’ & ‘Mustard’

Suitable for upholstery, we think these would be perfect for a feature occasion chair, or a statement sofa. And why not choose two contrasting colourways for contemporary designer look – rich navys or dark teal tones with a vibrant mustard yellow makes for a beautifully bold and on-trend pairing.

Charleston

The Charleston fabrics feature delicate embroidered patterns inspired by the Art Deco trend; making for a beautifully elegant collection of scatter cushions. Spread these across a bed, sofa, or kitchen seating area for that instant injection of luxury.

Orientalis

Inspired by Japanese gardens, the beautiful Orientalis collection depicts delicate trailing florals and blossom trees, along with soaring birds. The fabrics have a semi-metallic sheen within the yarns, and we think these beautiful patterns and muted colourways would add a touch of nature and femininity to any space.

Casa

Now, the Casa collection has to be one of our all-time favourites for upholstery. Unlike the solid colour of the Phoenix range, these velvets have a mottled, distressed appearance for an ultra sumptuous look and feel. Available in 20 different colourways and fire retardant, they are adaptable for almost any living space; such as cosy banquette seating for a bar area – as shown below – or integrated island seating.

Cotswold

The classic Cotswold collection perfectly suits a cottage/country-style home looking for an authentic lift. The patterns range from traditional checks and jacquard prints, to ornate florals, and the versatility of the fabrics mean they can be used throughout the home for furniture upholstery and scatter cushions, to bespoke window dressings.

We love the range of colours in this collection too – warm neutrals, earthy olives and sepia reds perfectly compliment a rural property and bring a real sense of cosiness into the home.
