How Much Do Our Single Room or Whole House Projects Cost?

16 April 2024How Much Do Our Single Room or Whole House Projects Cost?

Embarking on a bespoke interior design project, whether it’s a single room renovation or a whole house transformation, is a significant investment.

It’s important to us that our clients are fully informed of the financial considerations they need to take into account prior to commencing a design project. During your initial design consultation, your designer will ask about your budget. We’ll also discuss the cost of your investment relative to the value it will add to your home, and the factors that affect the overall price of the project.

Larger rooms, more expensive materials, appliances, and other details all impact the overall price of a design. Each project we work on is completely bespoke and unique, so each price is different. The figures below therefore serve as approximate indications to give our clients an idea of what to expect.

Boot Rooms

A well-designed boot room not only offers practical storage solutions but makes your home more welcoming. The cost for transforming your boot room into a functional and stylish space ranges from £18,000 to £40,000, depending on the materials, finishes, room size, and customisation options. We only install boot rooms as part of larger projects, never as a stand alone room.

Pantries and Utility Rooms

Essential add-ons to any kitchen project, your pantry and utility room provide extra storage and help keep your countertops clutter-free. For these projects, prices are generally between £13,000 tod £20,000. Factors influencing the cost include the size of the room, custom shelving, integrated appliances, and special features like climate control for wine storage. We only design pantries and utility rooms as part of a larger kitchen project.

Entertaining Spaces

Creating the perfect entertaining space – whether it’s a home bar, a games room, a cinema, or a lounge – requires meticulous planning and design. Starting from around £20,000, these spaces are tailored to your entertaining style and the technical specifications of the room. Some of our more advanced and ambitious designs have cost in excess of £200,000.

Studies and workspaces

A personal study, home office, or library room, including custom shelving, lighting, workspaces, etc., ranges from £20,000 to £80,000. With no appliance or gadget costs to consider, the price of these spaces largely depends on room size and design specifications.

Bedrooms

Our suite designs transform your bedroom into sanctuaries of relaxation. Prices start from £60,000. However, larger projects that include ensuites, dressing rooms, or walk in wardrobes can be around £95,000. Some of our more lavish suites have previously cost in excess of £200,000, but these designs were highly complex and covered multiple rooms.

Childrens’ bedrooms or guest rooms are generally priced between £20,000 and £50,000, but we’ve previously designed kids’ rooms with treetop bunkbeds that were priced at £80,000. The prices of our bedrooms vary greatly depending on size and specifications.
