This playful children’s bedroom is a standout addition to our Other Rooms portfolio, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. Created as a bespoke treehouse-inspired retreat, the space is one of our most joyful and imaginative projects – designed to grow with its young owner for years to come.
The custom-built treehouse bed forms the heart of the room, offering a bunk-style sanctuary above, with carefully considered steps that double as practical storage. Natural textures and playful materials including rattan detailing, rope handles, and a sculptural tree post, add warmth and character, grounding the design while keeping it fun and tactile.
Every detail has been thoughtfully layered, from the bespoke mural winding through mountain landscapes to cloud wallpaper wrapping the ceiling, creating an immersive environment that sparks curiosity and adventure. A space designed not just for sleep, but for learning, creativity, and imagination.
This bedroom formed part of a larger full home renovation project, which included the entrance, cinema room & dog’s room – not forgetting the impressive kitchen which will be revealed soon!
Designer Comment
Having the creative freedom to design this space was a truly exciting moment in my career. From drifting off among the treetops to getting creative at the forest-floor desk, this treehouse-inspired bedroom allowed our imaginations to run wild. It’s a space full of joy, character, and possibility - one that invites adventure at every level.
