Woodland House Kitchen & Pantry soft curves and arches set the tone of this warm, inviting kitchen
Our Northamptonshire kitchen was part of a full-house commission, and formed the starting point for our clients as they begin planning the design of their forever home. Arches were a huge theme throughout this new-build home, and the beautifully crafted pantry door in our Chai-stained oak is just one of the many unique features that make this a truly one-of-a-kind kitchen.
The inclusion of such a generous walk-in pantry, complete with secondary prep sink, microwave combination oven and Cool Drawer, allowed the main kitchen to be designed with a more aesthetic, lifestyle-led focus. With the core food storage and preparation tucked behind closed doors, the kitchen high-level kitchen joinery was curated with a focus on open display shelving; giving the space a light, airy feel without compromising on practicality.
Several different timber tones were layered throughout this design – from the stained oak cabinetry accents, to the stunning herringbone flooring, to the statement French-rustic bar stools – and the result is a warm, inviting space.
Designer Comment
It was such a special journey working with my clients over the last two and half years to curate their dream home. The style of the kitchen is a unique blend of classic, British in-frame cabinetry, with French and American design influences through the layering of timber accents, and the decorative profiling of the doors and worktops.
