We loved creating this two-tone furniture, using a bolder, statement colour on the central island, while the lighter worktops added balance. Beautiful garden views were brilliantly reflected in the antique mirrored splashback, bringing the outdoors in. The light-coloured, bespoke mantle was perfectly positioned to reflect the gorgeous natural sunlight the space enjoys, and the bi-fold door breakfast larder offered a practical answer to busy mornings, keeping the worktops clean and clutter free.

The key to having a dark, bold kitchen is to pair it with a light worktop which can reflect and multiply the national sunlight in the space.
